Studying or working in the United Kingdom requires proving your English proficiency. The UK Home Office officially recognizes PTE as a Secure English Language Test (SELT). However, ensuring you book the correct version of the test is crucial for a smooth visa application.
Required if you are applying for a below-degree level course (like a foundation year) or a skilled worker visa. It shares the exact same format and scoring as the standard test but includes a Unique Reference Number (URN) for UK Visas and Immigration.
Accepted by Higher Education Providers (HEPs) for bachelor’s, master’s, and PhD programs.
